Janet Maxson, FNP, PhD, FAHA, FNLA, is one of the skilled and compassionate providers caring for patients at Legacy Health Clinic in Minot, North Dakota. 

Born and raised in Minot, Janet knew from a very young age that she wanted a career in the medical field. In 1975, Janet received her Bachelor of Science at Minot State University. After earning her master's in family nurse practitioner from the University of North Dakota, she obtained her Ph.D. in health services admissions from Kennedy Western University. 

With over 47 years of experience serving the Minot community, Janet's priority has always been continuing her education. Her passion for educating and treating clients for health promotion and disease prevention has allowed her to put patients on track for a healthy life. She truly goes above and beyond for each of her patients.
