Emily Marsh, FNP-C
Emily earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at University of Wyoming and then went on to earn her Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner with Walden University in Minneapolis, MN. Emily’s nursing background is in ER and Trauma. Emily is a Certified Emergency Nurse along with being Trauma Nursing Certified. Emily grew up in Minnesota and as a military spouse, has worked as a nurse in multiple states earning her well-rounded and diverse skills .
Emily believes that true health is not just the absence of illness but the presence of balance and well-being in every aspect of life. Emily’s approach emphasizes holistic care, where she partners with patients to address their unique needs, working to identify and treat the root cause and whole person. Emily has a particular passion for women’s health through every stage of life. Emily believes in empowering and educating patients to make informed decisions about their health by combining evidence-based medicine with prevention and lifestyle to help patients achieve their healthiest, fullest lives.
Emily is married with two children and can often be found at their sports activities and games. When not supporting her children in their activities you may find Emily horseback riding in her free time.
Nickie Peterson, FNP-C
Nickie Peterson is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner(FNP-BC) with a strong clinical foundation and a heart for patient-centered care. Nickie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN) from Rasmussen College in Ocala, Florida, and went on to complete her Master’s in Nursing (FNP-C) at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks (UND Hockey Fan!).
Nickie has been an RN since 2012, gaining experience across a wide range of settings including ER, Trauma Care, Long-Term Care, Family Practice, and Specialty Clinics. Nickie’s diverse background gives her a well-rounded perspective on patient care and treatment.
Nickie’s decision to become an FNP was driven by a desire to take a more active role in her patients’ health. Nickie is passionate about collaborating with each individual to create personalized treatment plans, believing that true success in prevention and/or healing comes from working with patients, not just treating them.
Outside of work, Nickie enjoys a happy life with her boyfriend, her three beloved dogs—Piper, Chase, and Jersy—and trio of ferrets—Gemma, Harper, and Ivy. Nickie loves spending time with her family, curling up with a good murder mystery novel, watching movies, and making the most of beautiful ND, spending as much time as possible outdoors when weather allows.
