Patients applying for a medical card in ND must have a diagnosis of one or more of the following conditions:

- Anorexia Nervosa

- Crohn’s Disease
- Decompensated Cirrhosis caused by Hepatitis C
- Ehlers‑Danlos Syndrome
- Endometriosis
- Epilepsy

- Glaucoma
- Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)
- Interstitial Cystitis
- Migraine
- Neuropathy
- Post‑Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Spinal Stenosis or chronic back pain, including cases with neuropathy or spinal cord tissue damage accompanied by objective evidence of intractable spasticity

- Any medical condition or its treatment that causes one or more of the following: Cachexia or Wasting Syndrome
- Intractable Nausea
